Make Music And Be Merry: Second-Annual Benefit Show A Success

What do music and the holidays have in common?

Community. A time to join selflessly with other human beings to create something that makes us all better.

Friday, 12/20/19 was the second annual Lowell Spin holiday benefit show, featuring the musical stylings of Arthur Terembula, JoE GriZzLy, and Green Piece who generously donated their time and talent to help us raise money for The Lowell Transitional Living Center. The LTLC is a client centered emergency shelter for homeless adults dedicated to providing housing solutions, meals, and connections to community- based resources and support.  LTLC has been providing shelter and care for 32 years in downtown Lowell.

This year, with the help of our community, we raised $519.00 for the LTLC. That’s an additional $519 that goes to providing meals and shelter to those most in need. And, really, that’s what this time of year is about–pulling our time, talent, and resources together to help others. That’s what The Lowell Spin is about 365 days a year, but we really felt the love this past Friday from our friends and fellow musicians. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making Lowell a better place and the holidays a bit warmer for those in need.
