A Year In Review: Christmas With the Lowell Spin

Before you know it, we’re ushering in a whole new year of EP releases, tour announcements, and benefit shows. Though evitable, we at the Lowell Spin are definitely pumping the brakes around this time of year and are looking to take a little time to get thankful. It’s been a banner year and we’re grateful for our many feats – all of us rising to the occasion and putting forth our best work. Now’s the time to celebrate that, unrelentingly!

Friday, December 14th is a night for holiday cheer and a side of good karma. Thirsty First: Tavern & Grill is holding the Lowell Spin Christmas Party, benefiting the Lowell Transitional Living Center. This organization helps offer viable resources to homeless folks in the area, aiming to transition them into stable housing. Upon arrival, there will be a donation stocking by the door for cash donations. We encourage whoever can attend to give what they can.

Live music will be provided in spades from The Squires of Soul, Ben Farley, Zach Homer and a very special Christmas set by Bucky Fereke. Plan to nimble away on candy canes, Christmas cookies, yummy spiked egg nog, and enjoy the reason for the season!

Join us at Thirsty First in Lowell around 8PM on Friday, December 14th if you’re looking to have a great time with some wonderful people. Many of these people bust their asses year round to cover Lowell’s constantly growing scene and this is their moment to glow and give back. Come nog about with the Lowell Spin team and benefit the Lowell Transitional Living Center!
